AGE: 18. There is literally no difference between this age and her canon age of seventeen, and as it stands Rikku is a very mature seventeen year old (having to save the world twice and stopping your cousin from completing a ritual suicide will do that to you). It’s implied that she was more or less in charge of an Al Bhed scavenging crew at age fifteen (age of majority in Spira until recently, thanks to Sin) and between her and her older brother, Rikku is by far the more sensible and together.
CANON POINT: Just after FFX-2, just as the Gullwings learn that Tidus returned.

INCENTIVE/FIT: Really it won’t take much to encourage Rikku to go to Eudio. She’s at a loss for what to do with her life, she wants adventure and excitement and her happy ending and the world is so different than the one she was raised in that Rikku is entirely confused. Being offered an adventure would be enough to get her to sign on, never mind the promise.

That being said, what will really get her to agree to come is the representatives offering to keep Spira safe from trouble and to give everyone their happy endings. Two omnicidal maniacs in two years is a bit much. She’s pretty sure Spira is cursed so anyone offering to help would be great.

She’s super affectionate and friendly too, so the cuddling aspect won’t be a problem. Sex might be a tiny problem at first, but as soon as Rikku learns about birth control and makes some friends she’ll be perfectly happy to join in on that.
SAMPLES: Rikku studies the…person, maybe a woman?, in front of her. “So…you want me to come to your city, make friends, cuddle, have fun…and you guys will keep Spira safe?”

The person nods. “That’s right. Eudio runs on physical affection. Sex is obviously the most helpful, but we realize that some of our guests aren’t comfortable with that. Cuddling, hand holding, if it is affectionate it counts.”

“And you guys will keep the crazies from destroying Spira?”

“We will.”

She wasn’t sure about this. This sounded really too good to be true! And a little strange, really, but no stranger than Tidus and his silly stupid “appear, disappear, oh look I’m a dream whoops no I’m not” whatever. A city that ran off cuddles and could keep Spira safe though…could it really be? Would everyone really be okay if she left to go to this place?

….would they miss her if she did? She knows Yuna would and Cid would probably, once he stopped sulking, but would anyone else? Maybe. She was just Yuna’s cousin and former guardian, maybe sometimes sphere hunter. She wasn’t anyone super special.

But going off and helping this other place and Spira would be what Yuna would do, and maybe Rikku’ll come home a hero, too. If nothing else, it’ll be fun…and give Yunie and Tidus some alone time.

“Alrightie!” Rikku hops up and punches the air a bit, smiling. “Lemme grab my things and then I’ll sign your contract!”

ANYTHING ELSE? Rikku will come with several dresspheres and a garment grid, magical spheres that allow the wearer of their grid to use the abilities stored in the sphere. I don’t want her to be able to access her abilities--I want her to be able to access the clothing that comes in the spheres. The spheres I’d like her to have with her are:
